Ok, you picked a course. Great! But now what? Check the list above with the steps you should follow to get ready four this journey.
1- Start your application process
Each institution has different requirements for its applicant. Some Universities may ask for a language international certificate of proficiency. TOEFL and IELTS are normally the more requested ones. Also, some institutions can ask for a motivation letter, a recommendation letter and your educational history.
2- Structure your finances
Studying abroad can be expensive, but Canada offers relatively low tuition rates for international students compared to the U.S, Australia and the U.K. So, think about this experience as a truly rewarding investment in your future. 3- Apply for the VISA process
After you have been accepted by a designated learning institution in Canada, it`s time to apply for your Study VISA. That is the time to prove that you have enough money to pay for your tuition fees, living expenses and transportation to Canada. You may have to provide a no criminal record certificate and you must be in good health and willing to complete a medical examination, if necessary.

5- Find a place to stay
If you are planning to study in Canada, you will need somewhere to live. Many schools offer on-campus housing ranging from shared condominiums to dormitory-style housing. This type of residence may or may not include a meal plan and or other utilities such as phone and internet connection.
If you choose to live off-campus, prices may be lower but will include the additional cost of furnishings, hydro, electricity and/or other miscellaneous expenses. 6- Find a job to get extra money
Working temporarily after studying and getting a permanent VISA are possibilities that attracts lots of students across the globe to Canada. But not everyone knows that is possible to work while studying in some cases. With some restrictions, it`s possible to work on-campus, off-campus and as a co–op student or intern. 7- Pack it up!
